Shipping Goods is a term used to show the physical movement process of goods and products all over the world. The manner of shipping can vary between land, sea, and air but the process of handling products and recording the sending and receiving of said goods can require the necessity of a variety of forms.

What Are the Different Shipping Goods Forms?

Generally, the term "Shipping Goods" is pretty self-explanatory as the means of sending an item from one point of delivery to another but there are also a variety of forms and documents that go with this that are good to keep in mind. These include the following:

1. Packing Slip. These forms are used for describing the content of the package so that the receiver of an order can confirm that they got everything a shipper has sent them.
2. Consignment Agreement. This is a legal contract signed between a consignor (a seller) and a consignee (a distributor), upon which a consignor delivers goods to the consignment stock and stores them, and a consignee uses or sells those goods to a third party.
3. Bill of Lading. This acts as a legal document issued by a carrier to a shipper to acknowledge the receipt of goods for carrying. The document details the quantity, type, and destination of the cargo being shipped.
4. Delivery Receipt. This is a type of document that records payment for the successful delivery of an item to a specific destination.
