Form MVU-29, Affidavit in Support of a Claim for Exemption From Sales or Use Tax for a Motor Vehicle Purchased Outside of Massachusetts , is a one-page form to request exemption of the Massachusetts state sales and use tax for motor vehicles that are purchased outside of Massachusetts.

You can also qualify if while a resident of another state you purchased the vehicle in Massachusetts, but the vehicle was delivered to you outside of Massachusetts by the seller.
This Massachusetts MVU-29 is issued by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and the latest revision took place on April 1, 1999 . An MVU-29 RMV fillable form is available for download below.
