A Book Planner is a strategic tool developed by a writer once they have come up with an idea for a fictional narrative.
Alternate Name:
Every writer knows - planning is the best way to organize your thoughts and ideas effectively and ensure the future story has a coherent structure. Although many writers end up slightly deviating from their initial vision, most of the things they have developed at an early stage remain the same - develop your book and do not neglect any of the crucial elements of the story.

The creative process varies from writer to writer but most of them focus on the crucial elements of the story - exposition, setting, plot, theme, conflict, and resolution. Write down the names of the main and supporting characters and briefly elaborate how they contribute to your story, determine what tone of writing is suitable for the book, decide whose point of view you will write from - it can be an omniscient third person or a first-person narrator, and list the issues and themes that will be present throughout your story. Keep the first planner you have filled out and refer to it whenever you need to remind yourself of the plot and characters - you can modify the original outline and add to it if you believe some of your ideas or characters must be more fleshed out.
