What Is a Vendor List for a Wedding?

A Wedding Vendor List is a roster of companies and self-employed individuals that may be hired or are already hired to offer their talents for the wedding reception. By creating a detailed list of contacts, you will facilitate communication with dozens of people and learn more about them before you commit to a certain service provider - months or weeks before the scheduled day of the wedding, you need to research the potential vendors and know how to quickly reach them to discuss the upcoming event.

Determine how many vendors you will hire to receive their products or services on the day of the wedding; in most cases, this list includes the wedding planner or coordinator, the owner of the venue where the celebration will be held, the catering company, the photographer, the baker, the make-up artist and the hairstylist, the tailor, the florist, and the band that will perform during the event.

Indicate the name of the person you are able to contact with your questions or concerns, add their phone number and a link to their social media account, and leave enough space for your notes and feelings about each vendor. The list is not set in stone - feel free to write down the contact information of multiple service providers while you are comparing their portfolios and deciding who to pick to help you make the wedding perfect.
