How to File for Divorce in Alaska?
If you want to file for a divorce in Alaska, you will need to follow the steps below to ensure that it is done in a timely manner:
- Initiate the divorce proceedings by submitting the relevant document to the court;
- You will then be told which other additional documents you will need to prepare and present to the court before proceedings can be followed through;
