Self-proving Affidavit Form - Wyoming

A Wyoming Self-Proving Affidavit Form is usually created to decrease the length of the probate process in court which occurs when a court wants to examine the authenticity of a will. With this document on hand, the will is confirmed as a genuine document straight away because it needs two witnesses to confirm the fact that the individual signing the will has signed it voluntarily, without any pressure from others.

As mentioned previously, the Wyoming Self-Proving Affidavit requires witnesses and as they have to sign the document, this means that these witnesses do not need to attend court to verify genuineness. The individual creating the document also needs to sign along with all individuals acting as witnesses. They must do this before the notary public and then in turn, the notary would notarize the document in accordance with the law. If the document is signed not as it should be, it cannot be classed as a legal document and cannot be enforced.
