An Iowa Non-Compete Agreement prevents company secrets from being exposed to the public and in particular, to fellow competitors. It is usually signed by a company and an employee which establishes certain information to be a company secret, meaning that the employee has no right to disclose this information to any other party, even after their employment with the company finishes.
