What Is a Parent Sign In Sheet?
A Parent Sign In Sheet is a sheet used by teachers to keep track of which parents have attended a parent's meeting or any other education-related event for parents. Before a meeting commences, parents will be given the Sign In Sheet to add their names, the name of their child (i.e. the student) as well as their signature.
The main purpose of using the Sign In Sheet is that it acts as confirmation that a specific parent genuinely attended a school meeting. This can be important as very often during such meetings lots of crucial information can be relayed to parents, particularly information concerning their child and the progress that they are making in school.
Discussing such information with parents is an important part in the development of a child and very often, teachers will give parents some recommendations for parents to follow at home to further extend progress.
