Notary Acknowledgment Form - Mississippi

A Mississippi Notary Acknowledgment Form will act as confirmation that the signatures present in a legal document are genuine and everything was signed in accordance with the law. The person with the power to do this is usually a notary public and although the document does not need to be signed in front of them, they do need to confirm that the person before them is genuine. To do this, a notary will request an approved form of ID. The individuals signing must also confirm they are not under duress.

After making sure the legal document and involved individuals are legitimate, the notary will begin to form the Mississippi Notary Acknowledgment. The notary must sign the form, attach their signature and seal. This ready document will then be attached to the original document and then attached to the main document that it concerns.
