An Oregon Property Management Agreement is drafted between two parties: the owner of a property and the individual/company they have hired to care for and manage their property. This document will in detail, lay out all of the main responsibilities of the manager which in most cases concern maintenance of the property, ensuring that it is in good condition as well as communicating with tenants. This involves resolving their problems and looking for new ones as and when required. If management has to seek new tenants, they are completely responsible for all associated tasks which can include organizing open days for tenants to look at the property and then signing lease agreements with them.
This document is very important as it details in writing all of the important terms and conditions formed by the two parties. The manager must have a real estate license if they are not the owner or an employee of the owner.
