An Oil Change Receipt is a document handed to clients after they have paid for an oil change when servicing their motor vehicle. A receipt would usually contain information regarding the specific tasks that were carried out with the vehicle, the type of oil that was used, the name of the oil brand and the name of the individual who carried out the job.
Individuals carrying out the work will also often add on additional payments for other services and the price for materials required to successfully complete the job. The receipt will include information on all services provided along with their specific quantity. For example, if the oil is charged by the liter, the number of liters required should be specified. The overall subtotal taking into account all services should be clearly stated in the receipt as well as a note of how the payment was carried out. The individual issuing the receipt and the client should both provide their contact details in the receipt which should be signed by an individual with the appropriate authority.
This document could be of use when it comes to changing oil in the future with any appropriate organization authorized to do so.
