What Is a Parking Receipt?
A Parking Receipt is a receipt that demonstrates the charges involved for parking a car, or any other vehicle in an allocated parking lot. It will show the time period for which a vehicle has remained parked and the sum that needs to be paid for these services. If there is no receipt, the vehicle will not be allowed to leave the designated parking area.

The receipt should contain all of the crucial information relating to the car to make sure it is easily identifiable. This includes the make and model of the vehicle along with the year of issue and the registration plate numbers. In the event that the vehicle is stolen or experiences some sort of damage whilst being parked in the parking lot, the owner of the vehicle can present the receipt in court as a form of evidence.
Vehicle owners usually pay for parking on an hourly basis or if the vehicle is parked on a daily basis, they pay a standard fee. However, if the vehicle is not collected on time and the paid period of time is exceeded, the owner will have to pay a higher price by the hour.
