If an individual (principal) wants to delegate duties to another individual (agent) in Oklahoma, an Oklahoma Limited Power of Attorney Form will be required in order to legalize the agreement. This document allows the principal to select an agent, who will be the legal representative of the principal. The agent will legally have the right to carry out certain tasks, as agreed upon in the document. The validity of the document will remain until it reaches its expiry date (included in the document) or until the principal decides to terminate it.
To ensure that the document is fully legal and can be used, it is worth knowing the signatory rules. In Oklahoma, this includes the presence of a notary public who will need to witness the principal signing the form.
