A Nevada Limited Power of Attorney Form permits a principal to delegate their authority to another party, referred to as an agent. Legally, this gives the agent the right to carry out some functions and represent the principal. The form only permits for highly detailed, specific tasks to be carried out a fixed amount of time. This may be in times when the principal needs to leave or is bed ridden and cannot attend an important transaction.
In order for this document to be legitimized and recognized, the signing process needs to occur in the presence of a notary public who provides their own signature and seal to verify the agreement.
