If you are a resident of Mississippi, a Mississippi Limited Power of Attorney Form will give the principal the right to authorize a set task to an agent, on their behalf. The tasks will differ depending on what is required, but generally, they are signed for when the principal cannot be physically present during an important transaction. The power included in the form must be detailed heavily to protect the interests of the principal. This is why the principal needs to find an agent that they can trust completely.
In order for the document to be recognized as a legally binding document, the signing process has to be witnessed in front of a notary public. Generally, the notary public will also add their additional signature and stamp to ensure competent signage.
