A principal (individual that requires another party to carry out functions on their behalf) can use an Arkansas Limited Power of Attorney Form to appoint themselves an agent (or agents), that will legally be allowed to carry out agreed responsibilities on their behalf. When outlining the powers, they should be as specific as possible and not broad as this can lead to manipulations. The more concise you are about the permitted powers, the less chance you have of these powers being exploited.
In Arkansas, the document is considered genuine if the signature happens before a notary public and only if it contains the seal. A copy of this document needs to be given to the agent. The original should be kept safely by the principal.
