When Do You Need a Location Release?

A Film Location Release Form is not normally necessary when filming on publicly accessible territory, such as public streets and sidewalks or government buildings. As long as you don't plan to impede the regular flow of people or vehicles (such as closing roadways or sidewalks), you don't need authorization to hold your event.
