Consider completing an Idaho Transfer on Death Deed if you do not want your property to go through the probate process and you already know the person who should inherit your possessions after you pass away. Often titled "Beneficiary Deed", this document identifies the parties to the deed and provides a legal description of the property that will go to the grantee once the grantor is deceased. The owner must compose and execute the deed conforming to the requirements of Section 45 of Idaho Revised Statutes: a notary public has to be present when the property owner signs the document and the grantor is obliged to register a copy of the deed with the county recorder office.
