A Connecticut Transfer on Death Deed is a legally binding document that establishes the details of the property transfer from one party to the other upon the death of the original owner. Alternatively titled "Beneficiary Deed', this legal instrument lets the owner name several beneficiaries to their property and is often used to allow relatives or friends of the deceased individual to stay at the residence they have shared together.
