Real property can be transferred from one party to another by executing a North Dakota Quitclaim Deed . In this state, any deed must include a post office address of the grantee. If there are several grantees, then the deed shall include post office addresses of all of them (47-10-07). Following the North Dakota Century Code, a quitclaim deed must be recorded in the county where the real property stated in the deed is located (47-19-07). Make sure you executed your deed properly before bringing it to the recordation (47-19-30; 47-10-05), otherwise the recorder might refuse to record your deed (47-19-03; 47-19-03.1; 47-19-05).
