If an individual would like to shift a title of ownership of their real property without offering a warranty of title, they can use a Hawaii Quitclaim Deed . To comply with the Hawaii Revised Statutes, this type of deed shall be acknowledged and then recorded in the bureau of conveyances (§502-83). The process of acknowledgment must be held in accordance with sections §502-41 - §502-54 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
