Gift Deed Form - Wisconsin

A Wisconsin Gift Deed is completed when documenting the transfer of property or real estate from one person or party to another, where no payment will be required during the transfer. Such documentation will require clearly written and defined terms so that no part of the deed can later be contested in court. To complete a gift deed, a full legal description of the property must be made, including a description of a plat if one is part of the property (Wis. Stat. 236.25). When submitting a gift deed, provide all additional documentation, including a Wisconsin Real Estate Transfer Form (or exemption number), and submit them to the local county Clerk's office.
