A North Dakota Deed of Trust is supposed to help you (as a beneficiary) to secure a loan you gave to a borrower to purchase real estate. Before completing and signing your deed, ensure you have read the North Dakota Century Code since it has provisions dedicated to this type of deed. As stated by Section 47-29-01, the deed may be recorded in the office of the recorder of any county, therefore, it shall meet all of the requirements for recordation. Such requirements can be found in Chapter 35-03 (Mortgage of Real Property) and Chapter 47-19 (Record Title) of the code and include acknowledgment (or proof), the identifying information of the involved parties, the address of the real property that is subject to the deed, and more.
