Deed of Trust Form - Louisiana

Even though using a Louisiana Deed of Trust provides benefits for the involved parties, this type of deed is not described in the Louisiana Civil Code. Nevertheless, one of the advantages of using a deed of trust is that the process of foreclosure does not take as much time as when you use a mortgage, since it is a non-judicial foreclosure that does not involve filing a case. Individuals who reside in states where deeds of trust are not in use should keep in mind that their foreclosure can last a year (more or less), which can be inconvenient.
