An Oklahoma Grant Deed is an instrument of conveyance to transfer property from one person or entity to another person or entity, which is supposed to be executed in writing and signed by the grantor (16 O.S. § 4). A grant deed shall be acknowledged in compliance with section 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes and recorded in the county where the real property is located. If the estate in question is located in more than one county, then the recording of the grant deed shall be done in compliance with section 43 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
