Grant Deed Form - Alabama

An Alabama Grant Deed is a legal document that is used in this state to transfer ownership of real property, which must be executed in written (or printed) form and signed in the presence of witnesses (35-4-20). While completing one, Alabama residents must follow all of the requirements for such kinds of deeds, which can be found in the Code of Alabama, Title 35 Property. Individuals should keep in mind that the grant deed is null and void to purchasers unless the document has been recorded before the accumulation of the rights of such purchasers, mortgagees, or judgment creditors (35-4-90).
