How to Write an Airbnb Welcome Letter?

To begin writing your Airbnb host welcome letter you will want to include the following information:

1. Date.
2. Address of your Airbnb unit and the dates the guest has reserved.
3. Opening salutation including the names of the guests (or if it is a large group you could simply write the Jackson Family or Beth's Bachelorette Party).
4. You can include an introductory statement welcoming your guests to the location and you hope they have an enjoyable stay. If your rental is in a location known for unique attractions (such as music festivals or surfing), include a couple sentences about these or any other seasonal activities that will be occurring during their stay that you would recommend as a local.
5. Remind your guests about your checkout policy and where they can drop off keys if necessary.
6. If the location has any parking regulations or trash pickup days where they will need to need to have a vehicle off the streets, be sure to mention it in the letter and recommend other streets or lots where they can safely leave a vehicle.
7. Clear directions on how to access the home and any guide to help them locate the correct building or unit.
• For example, "the apartment building is located next to The Burger Palace and you can enter it by typing in the code 1111 at the front door. From there you will take the stairs to the third floor, where unit 3A is located. Type code 1234 into the front door lock to enter the unit;"
• If your unit will have a physical key to unlock the premises, include the code for opening a lockbox where a key can be stored.
8. Include a brief description of the amenities you provide (such as cookware, thermostat, cleaning supplies, rental bikes, etc).
9. Finish your letter by including any house rules or quiet hours your guests will need to respect and that you hope that their stay will be enjoyable.
10. Closing salutation.
11. Your name.
