After the applicant has completed Form SF500, they are supposed to take it to the nearest job center or post it in an enclosed envelope to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) using one of their Freepost addresses. The Freepost address should be chosen in accordance with the area where the applicant lives. Applicants do not need to use a postcode or a stamp when posting the claim to the DWP using the Freepost address. Applicants can apply for budgeting loans online. If they do, they can choose to receive the decision on their loan by email, text message, or letter. Applying online and getting the result via email (or text message) is quicker, but requires a working internet connection.
