Form N245 Instructions

Here is how you need to fill out Form N245:

1. State the court name and the claim number. Write down the fee account number or reference number if you have requested help with fees. Enter the warrant number and the local number. Identify the parties to the case.
2. Tick the box to confirm your intention to reduce the debt amount or suspend the warrant.
3. List your personal details (i.e., your full name, title, age, and marital status). Provide your contact information.
4. Name your children and other dependants you support financially.
5. Describe your current employment (you should indicate your main job, self-employment status, or duration of the unemployment). Alternatively, confirm you are a pensioner.
6. Record the sum of money you have in your bank account and savings account.
7. State whether you live in your own property, rent, or reside in the council property.
8. Outline your actual income, expenses, and debts. Fill out all appropriate boxes and calculate the total amounts. Specify the court order you are contesting and indicate the amount of money you owe.
9. List your credit card debts and loans. Certify which payments have not been made on time.
10. Provide a new offer of payment - state the sum of money you can pay every month, the funds you enclose now, and a necessary fee.
11. Confirm all the statements in the form are true, sign and date the document. When submitting the application, you will have to pay the N245 Form fee of £14 or file for a fee exemption (if applicable).
