Any small business, individual business owner or business team operating in the U.S. may be nominated for an SBA Award. Participants may self-nominate or be nominated by a third party.

The information provided on the SBA Form 3300 is used to evaluate the nominee, their achievements, their team, their business and their competitiveness on the market to determine eligibility for the award. Providing wrong information could result in criminal prosecution or significant civil penalties. The completed Award Nomination Form is submitted as part of the nomination package. Additional required forms will be listed in the annually-updated National Small Business Week Award Nominations Guidelines for the current year.
