How to Make an Origami Box?

If you have decided to create an easy Origami box then look no further. Prior to starting, we would recommend downloading an online template which will contain the necessary outline needed to form the box, which is particularly useful for those with little or no experience.

Below, we have created a detailed list of Origami Box instructions:

  • To begin, put a squared sheet of paper on the table ensuring that the colored side is facing down. Fold the square crosswise in halves, then open it out again;
  • Fold the sheet in half by folding it first horizontally, then vertically;
  • Fold the squares four corners inwards, lining them up with the creases that were formed in the previous step;
  • Turn the paper over, match the edges with the creases formed in the second step and fold them towards the middle once more;
  • Crease the bottom edge of the sheet properly as you start folding it up and into the middle;
  • After unfolding the bottom part, do the same to the top, folding inwards and creasing it thoroughly;
  • After unfolding the top part, fold the left and right sides towards the middle, giving them good creasing;
  • Open up the top and bottom corners, creasing them nicely, and then fold the left and right sides to the middle;
  • To form the walls of the box, hold all four corners and drag them out;
  • To give the box its overall form, press the box's walls inwards.

Now you have your very own, completed box! It can serve as a jewelry box or a place to keep small objects.
