Soccer Lineup Template: What Is It?
A Soccer Lineup is a list of players that will participate in a particular soccer game announced one hour before the kick-off. Traditionally submitted to the governing body that oversees the enforcement of league or tournament regulations and disclosed to the public, including media, fans, and the opponent, this document confirms the names of eleven players that will start the game, the players that may replace them during the ninety minutes, and occasionally the details of the formation that allow to deduce the tactics of the manager and predict the positions of the players.

- Write down the main information about the game - the name of the tournament or its logo, the date and location of the event, and the names of opponents and referees.
- Draw a table that will contain the numbers of players and their full names . Since this is a formal document with the purpose to convey information to parties directly involved in the game, the design can be simple - often the only images included are the logo of the competition and the badges of the clubs.
- You may prepare two versions of the Soccer Lineup template - a formal one described above and a visual representation of the squad you share with your supporters online. The latter can show the formation of the team, name the manager and the players, indicate their numbers and positions, specify who the captain is, and inform the fans about potential suspensions for upcoming games by adding an image of a yellow card next to the players' names.
