Here is how you can utilize this educational instrument:
Make sure Number Flash Cards are colorful and easy to read - the child should be able to see what is on the card. As for the size of the piece of paper, it can be similar to a business card or greeting card - use a couple of sheets of regular paper to cut them into cards of the same dimensions and fill them out with numbers.
Feature small images and drawings of items the child knows to associate them with certain numbers . For instance, cards can include pictures of animals, cars, or fruits the kid can count out loud and give you the right answer regarding the number. Alternatively, fill the flash cards with multicolored shapes to introduce the kid to numbers, colors, and shapes at the same time.
To let the kid practice how to write numbers, the back of the index card may only contain the name of the number - give them paper and pen and ask them to record the number they have studied before. It is also a good idea to invest in multipurpose erase cards you can use again and again for more advanced material - the kid will have endless attempts to replicate the number correctly improving their writing skills.
